1. Scope

This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information. The website is a public company site and does not require an account. Qinlv is an iOS app in development; once it is available on the App Store, this policy also covers in-app processing.

If you do not agree, please stop using the site or app. We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top of this page is authoritative.

2. Information we collect

We process only what is needed to operate the service, which may include:

• Website logs: IP address, browser type, time, and page path, for security and operations;
• Email you send us: your address, message, and attachments, used only to reply;
• Content you create in the app (after launch): practice plans, session length, and notes, used to provide Qinlv;
• Account data (if sign-in is enabled): Apple ID-related identifiers or a contact method you provide;
• Device and diagnostics: model, iOS version, app version, and crash logs, used to fix defects.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Operate this website and the forthcoming iOS app;
• Answer support, business, or press requests;
• Keep systems secure and prevent abuse;
• Meet legal obligations.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share identifiable information only when:

• You ask us to, or you clearly consent;
• The law or a competent authority requires it;
• A vendor must process data to host email or servers, under confidentiality and only as needed;
• Apple processes App Store, account, and device information under its own rules when the app is distributed through Apple.

5. Storage, security, and retention

Website and app data are stored in the People’s Republic of China by default. We use access control, HTTPS, and least-privilege practices.

We keep information only as long as needed for the stated purposes. After you delete content, close an account, or a support request ends, we delete or anonymize data except where the law requires us to keep it.

6. Your rights, including account deletion

You may request access, correction, deletion, or account deletion. Until an in-app deletion control ships, email tangli@demowan.com and say what you need. We will act after we can verify the request, unless the law says otherwise.

Do not send passwords or verification codes by email.

7. Children

Qinlv is built for piano learners, some of whom may be minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 without a parent or guardian’s consent.

If you are a guardian and believe we have collected a child’s information, contact us and we will review and delete it where required.

8. Third parties

This website does not embed advertising trackers. If the app later includes analytics, crash reporting, or other third-party libraries, we will name them and their purpose here. We do not use app data for advertising profiles, other than what Apple’s platform may require.
